Medical convoy

Continued active participation from the Environment and Community Service Sector within the framework of the Faculty of Dentistry's social responsibility. Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, and the support of Prof. Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, an awareness convoy was organized today, Thursday, July 17, 2025, by the Faculty of Dentistry, Beni Suef University, in cooperation with the Faculty's Student Union and the Medical Convoys Committee, to the Orphanage Social Institutions Care Association. A team from the Faculty of Dentistry participated, along with their colleagues from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University
The convoy was sponsored by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fathallah Shawky, Dean of the Faculty, and supervised by Assistant Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ziada, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development, through the Faculty's Medical Convoys Committee, headed by Dr. Sherine Shaaban, Lecturer in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Head of the Convoys Committee, with the active participation of a team of resident doctors, interns, and the Faculty's Student Union. The children were examined and initial diagnoses were made to refer cases to the various departments in the Faculty's clinics. Awareness of oral and dental health care was also raised
